Originally established with a $10,000 award to Judge Donna M. Petre from the Foundation for the Improvement of Justice in Atlanta, GA, the fund has since evolved into a 501(c)3 non-profit organization now known as the Yolo Children’s Fund, Inc. The organization was incorporated in the State of California on January 23, 2001.
Guided by a board of directors of community members, the officers and the volunteer board operate without paid staff.
