The Marty Ewing Scholarship Fund

“The Children’s Fund has established the Marty Ewing Scholarship Fund to further the education of the most disadvantaged young people  in Yolo County.  The  Children’s  Fund will provide  $2000.00 scholarships to alleviate the financial burden of high school seniors from foster care, the juvenile justice system, or other disadvantaged backgrounds as they embark on their journey to community college or a four-year institution.”

The Following information will be required as a part of this application. We will ask that you provide after you submit your request. Thank you

1. A recommendation from a teacher.
2. This is a needs-based scholarship intended to help those who have experienced
   difficult financial circumstances or similar problems. A statement
   explaining why you would be a good candidate for this scholarship.
3. A recommendation from a CASA, social worker or school counselor.
4. Proof of acceptance or current student enrollment is required.
